Northwest Par 3 Championship
The innaugural Northwest Par 3 Championship is scheduled for April 17-18 at the Heron Links course at Willows Run Golf Complex in Redmond, Wash. This event is the first of its kind in the Northwest.

Northwest Golf Values launched
The Seattle Golf Show has begun a new email blast program entitled Northwest Golf Values to promote events and extreme golf values in the Northwest. This first email included a package offer for several 2-1 discounts, a Suncadia Monday special and a copy of the Northwest Golf Guide, the new directory of Washington state golf courses. This package is being offered at $15.

2011 Palm Springs Amateur scheduled
LA QUINTA, Cal. – The first year was a huge success at the Palm Springs Amateur. Over 125 golfers enjoyed 74-80 degree weather and great golf at PGA West and La Quinta Resort. Players came from 16 states and two provinces for the first event. This year promises to be bigger and better.

SnoCo First Tee news
Davis Halle has been selected by The First Tee Snohomish County to become a junior member at Mill Creek Country Club. The scholarship award pays for a one-year junior membership, a new category established by Mill Creek to promote junior golf in the area.

Tobiano’s first year a hit; go ask Alice (Cooper that is)

Ramsdell wins Golf Media award
The votes have been cast. The winner is Paul Ramsdell – 2008 Distinguished Service Award winner as recognized by the Northwest Golf Media Association. Ramsdell will be officially recognized at the group’s annual tournament and dinner, Oct. 20th at Sahalee Country Club.
